How a Silo Air Cannon Works

A silo air cannon stores compressed air in a pressure chamber connected to a fast-acting valve. When activated, the valve releases a powerful burst of air directed along the silo wall. The sudden expansion creates a shockwave that dislodges compacted material and restores normal flow inside the silo or hopper.

This method is highly effective for breaking stubborn buildup in bulk material handling systems.
